This is famous prelude from op.28 by Chopin. It present a big passion, emotions, pain and sorrow which Chopin had at that time of composing this prelude. The line melody (right hand) is Chopin's exhausted lungs and the chords with harmony structure (left hand) is Chopin's last beats of his heart. Stay tuned for a lot upcoming content! MrLu, magnificent!!! You must come and play for those of us who attend the SPCO (StPaul Chamber Orchestra). Wow!!!!!!!!!
Internet is full of performamces of this piece, people can compare and I wonder why is noone notes this as a second best one, especially when you can hear all of those mediocre and bad ones... Are you people -- at all -- worthy of listening this? Pigs and oranges...
❤️
WOW, THIS SOUNDS EXTREMELY HARD TO PLAY.........
저 초3인데 대회때 이거 쳐야 돼여😢 힘들겠따ㅜㅜ
This piece may be technically easier than some of liszt technical piece like his etude, but we can all agree that learning all of this perfectly took more effort than most of his etude
This is correct. The hardest sections of this piece aren't in a different league from the hardest sections of chopin etudes or mazeppa/chasse-neige, and feux follets surpasses this in terms of raw technical demands. But I would argue this piece is similar in difficulty due to the sheer length and variety of technical demands throughout. With chopin and liszt etudes, you can use them to greatly develop your technique, but this piece is so long with many technical sections throughout that you need to already have the techniques mostly down if you want to learn it in a reasonable timeframe.
He had to have put this together just to throw shade on lesser pianists and get laid at the same time.
This has a lot of dissonance. I’m not saying it’s a bad piece of music. It’s just not as musical as some of his other stuff such as his other stuff like the Liszt Sonata in B minor. Too much dissonance, in my opinion, is harsh on the ears. Chopin etudes probably don’t have as many notes like this piece like this but are more expressive.
How is this possible?
I have ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS KNOWING WHAT THIS SONG MEANS BUT I LOVE THE SOUNDS.❤😂🎉

liszt was 100% on somethin writting this cuz aint no way he did this sober XD
I have played it but 2x slower
The pianist made piano sing! Such clarity!
Now I only have some very basic knowledge about music scores...... But that's gotta be the ugliest sheet I've ever seen. It's like he had multiple seizures while he was writing it. Also, why are there three clefs played at once? Did he have 3 functional hands and history covered it up?
Easier to write
❤❤❤

How to enter cardiac arrest: 1. Play mazeppa
Ah si seulement j'avais le niveau suffisant pour jouer Mazeppa, je serais enfin heureux !
I am currently learning this piece with my duo partner, and I am finding this recording to be helpful as I try to figure out how the rhythms fit together. Have you considered doing individual recordings for the two piano parts? I’m learning the piece by ear, and although I have recordings of the right and left hands played separately, it’s sometimes difficult for me to figure out how they fit together rhythmically. I am on piano 1.
transcendental
After each time playing Liszt-Transcendental Étude (S.139) no.04, you'll need a new grand piano.
"Berceuse" ain"t really the word we should use here.
